Allergan Voluntarily Recalls Biocell Textured Breast Implants an Tissue Expanders
The FDA and ALLERGAN have just announced a voluntary RECALL of all ALLERGAN BIOCELL SALINE BREAST IMPLANTS and SILICONE BREAST IMPLANTS, due to a possible link between that style of implant and a type of lymphoma called Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (or ALCL). Allergan purchased Inamed, another breast implant manufacturer in 2006. INAMED also marketed BIOCELL implants.
